How We're Helping

We are a nonprofit organization focused on helping make the City of Normandy Park and greater community  a better, happier place. With the help of our community volunteers, we organize fundraisers, community-building events, and support our amazing little city.

Our Work

Big Donation Safety Campaign

  • Donated $70,000 to the City of Normandy Park to extend the length of police jobs following a levy failure

Welcome Signage

  • Raised $1,000 for the City of Normandy Park's 1st welcome signs at the Burien and Des Moines border

Business Sponsor Partners

  • Secured more than $30,000 in sponsorship and donations for the annual Zombie Fest NW and the Winterfest Tree Lighting Ceremony 

Family Programs for Children & Pets

  • Displayed festive booths at the Cove’s annual 4th of July event
  • Provides free prizes and treats at annual 4th of July Festival at the Cove
  • Raised money for the Highline Schools Foundation grants program
  • Provided free disaster preparedness kit supplies to more than 2,000 children
  • Provided thousands of free toys to children, along with hundreds of Santa hats, mittens, and treats
  • Raised donations for food drives for people and pets
  • Provided babysitting training for teenagers

City of Normandy Park

  • Partner with Parks, Arts Commission, the City of Normandy Park, and Chamber for community events
  • Provided volunteers and secured gift card donations for Normandy Park’s Annual Light the Park contest in December which honors the most festive holiday homes
  • Partner with City of Normandy Park Police Department to organize annual National Night Out event
  • Donated 30 Giant Sequoias to replenish our tree canopy in Normandy Park's parks

Festivals & Events

  • Organizes the popular Winterfest Tree Lighting Ceremony, Zombie Fest Northwest and the 2020 Mardi Gras Auction

Coming up in 2020:

  • 1st annual dinner auction
  • Tree donation and planting festival (we will give residents free Firs, Cedars and Sequoias)
  • Art and nature events for families
  • Bark in the Park (dog parade, costume contest and more!)
  • Community Salmon Bake (to build community)
